Run VP Suite's products on AMD64 machine (Windows)

This article will take about how to run VP Suite’s products on the AMD64 machine under Windows Platform.

1. Download the VP Suite no-install file from :
   http://www.visual-paradigm.com/downloads/vpsuite/VP_Suite_Windows_NoInstall.zip
   
2. Extract the VP_Suite_Windows_NoInstall_2_1_20051125.zip to C:\Program Files.

1. We assume that you have already install the Windows AMD64 Platform JRE 5, if you haven’t install it, please download and install it from : http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp
2. Please rename the jre folder to jre_original which located at C:\Program Files\VP Suite 2.1.
   
   
   
3. Copy the AMD64 JRE to C:\Program Files\VP Suite 2.1.
   
   
   
4. Rename the AMD64 JRE to jre.
   
   
   

1. Execute the C:\Program Files\VP Suite 2.1\bin\VP Suite.exe.
   
   
   
2. Click the VP Suite’s product which you wanted to install and click Next.
   
   
   
3. Select the edition of the selected product(s) and click Next.
   
   
   
4. Input the location of yours license key file (optional) and click Next.
5. Click Finish.
   
   
   

Now you can run the VP Suite’s product with the AMD64 JRE by executing the launcher which located at C:\Program Files\VP Suite 2.1\launcher.
