How To Import Floating License Key
The following steps shows how to import a floating license key.
Shut-down the floating license server if it is opened. To shut down the server, please execute shutdown_license_server.bat (For Windows User) or shutdown_license_server.sh (For Linux User) under %Floating_License_Server_Application%/bin.
Place the floating license key file to %Floating_License_Server_Application%/bin.
Restart the server by executing start_license_server.bat (For Windows User) or start_license_server.sh (For Linux User).
Note: In order for application from client machine(s) to obtain the license key from the server machine, you need to configure the license key repository from the License Key Manager during the first time you start the application. Here are the steps:
From the
License Key Manager, select
License Keys > Floating License... from menu.
Fill in the host ip of the machine that host a running floating license server.
Fill in the port number (default = 1998).
Click OK to confirm the settings.
Click Close to start the application.
