Printing Diagrams on Linux

The following steps show you how to setup a remote printer for printing the diagrams on a Fedora Core 4.

  1. Open the Print Configuration dialog box.


  2. Press the Add a new queue button to create a new Print Queue.


  3. In the Add a new print queue dialog box, enter the name of the print queue and press Forward.


  4. In the Select queue type dialog box, choose Networked JetDirect. After that enter the IP an Port number of the printer.




  5. Finally you will be prompted to choose the printer model from the List. After selecting the printer, press Finish to commit.


    When the printer configuration completes, you should be able to print your diagrams through the newly created print queue.
