Generate RubyInstant generator allows you to generate source codes from class diagrams for many popular programming languages with minimal effort. Now, Ruby has been added to the list of supported languages. This feature is supported in VP-UML and SDE in Standard or higher editions. Generating Ruby1. Select menu Tools> Instant Generator> Ruby...
2. In the Instant Generator dialog box, select classes to generate to code in the tree, and configure the code generation options. Now specify the output directory in Output path.
3. When you have selected your classes and specified the output directory click Generate to generate the code.
4. The code has now been generated into the output directory.
Instant Generator in Eclipse and Visual StudioInstant Generator can also be used in conjunction with Eclipse and Visual Studio. To use Instant Generator in Eclipse, go to Modeling in the menu bar, then Instant Generator > Ruby... and the code generation dialog box will show.
In Visual Studio, it is also under Modeling in the menubar. Clicking on Instant Generator... will show the code generation dialog box and you can then choose the language from the drop-down menu shown.
